A man was rushed to hospital after being the victim of a late night attack in Shotts.
Police are appealing for the public’s help following the incident in Shiel Gardens on Saturday, April 27.
The 31-year-old was left with what a police spokesperson described as “serious injuries”.
The spokesperson continued: “At around 11.50pm on Saturday, April 27, a 31-year-old man was found seriously injured in Shiel Gardens, Shotts. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Wishaw where he remains for treatment.
“Medical staff have described his condition as serious. Enquiries are ongoing as to why he came about his injuries.”
