
A man has been knifed to death and two others have been injured in a triple stabbing in south London.
Police and paramedics were scrambled to Alpha Road, Croydon, to reports of a stabbing at about 9.10pm on Tuesday.
A man, whose age has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men later arrived at a hospital in south London with stab injuries. They are believed to be connected to the incident, officers said.
Police were awaiting an update on their conditions on Wednesday morning.
No arrests have yet been made.
It comes after Tai Jordan O’Donnell, 19, was fatally stabbed in the same street on March 3 in a separate incident.
A Met Police spokesman said of the triple stabbing on Tuesday: “Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
“A man -no further details - was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.
“Two men - no further details - have self-presented at a south London hospital with stab injuries.
“They are believed to be connected to the prior Alpha Road incident. We await an update on their conditions.”
“A crime scene remains in place and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“At this early stage, there have been no arrests.”
