Man killed in Matteson shooting

A man was shot and killed Monday in south suburban Matteson.

Darius Juzang, 24, was shot in the head about 11:09 p.m. in the 200 block of Briarwood Court in Matteson, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Juzang was pronounced dead Tuesday morning, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide by gunshot wound to the head. He lived in Matteson.

Matteson police did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
