A man has been jailed after holding shop workers at knifepoint in three terrifying robberies.
Russell Greenwood, 31, targeted the Co-op store on Taylors Road in Stretford in January this year.
He terrorised staff members with a knife before stealing cash and alcoholic spirits, police said.
Yesterday, Greenwood, of Moss Park Road, Stretford, was jailed for five years after being found guilty of three counts of robbery.
GMP Trafford North posted a mugshot of Greenwood on their Facebook page this morning (Thursday).
Alongside the picture, an officer wrote: "Yesterday (2 June 2021) at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court, Russell Greenwood (10/04/1990) of Moss Park Road, Stretford was jailed for five years after being found guilty of three robberies in Stretford.
"The robberies occurred in January 2021, at the Cooperative Local store, Taylors Road in Stretford in which the staff were threatened at knifepoint before cash and alcohol spirits were stolen."
