MAN, the menswear new talent showcase sponsored by Topman that shows as part of London Collections: Men, will continue to support Craig Green, Bobby Abley and Alan Taylor for the upcoming autumn/winter 2014 shows. MAN, which is overseen by the London design initiative Fashion East, has backed the three young designers since the spring. This is Green's third and final outing for MAN, while Abley and Taylor are on their second showing.

The three designers have very different aesthetics, a detail that's important for a group show. Green is an expressionist designer, whose last collection featured tie-dye denim and wearable sculptures made of cardboard. Abley has a pop culture sensibility, with a trademark bear logo and sportswear influences. Taylor, meanwhile, is a tailoring talent who moves outside the typical Savile Row look. Together they form an alliance of what menswear means in London now and – judging by a track record that has produced JW Anderson, Christopher Shannon and James Long – the future.
