Man in video wanted in connection with Loop aggravated battery: police

Chicago police need help identifying this man.

Chicago police are looking to identify a man caught on video who may have been involved hit a woman in the Loop.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man caught on surveillance video who may be connected to an aggravated battery incident that occurred April 29 in the Loop.

The incident occurred at 6:35 p.m. in the 100 block of South Wabash Avenue, when an unknown offender struck a woman from behind and knocked her to the ground, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

Police described the person in the video as a 60-year-old man with gray hair. He was wearing a grey striped shirt and black pants and dragging a rolling suitcase with him.
