Man in 40s rushed to hospital with head injuries after falling from electric scooter

A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital with head injuries after coming off an electric scooter.

Emergency services were called to Windsor Street in Toxteth at 7.05pm on Monday (April 18). An ambulance, advanced paramedic and response vehicle all attended the scene following a 999 call.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson told the ECHO the man had fallen off an electric scooter and suffered a head injury. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The man was taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance told the ECHO : "We have taken a man in his 40s to hospital with a head injury. An ambulance, advanced paramedic and response vehicle all attended the scene following a 999 call at 19.05."
