A 39-year-old man was found shot to death Sunday inside a Jefferson Park home on the Northwest Side.
About 6:25 p.m., officers responding to a wellbeing check in the 6000 block of West Gunninson Street found the man unresponsive inside the residence with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet commented on the man’s death.
No arrests have been made, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
