Man found dead in Glasgow home as police launch search for family

Police have launched a search for the family of a man who was found dead at his home in Glasgow.

Owen McQuade, 65, was discovered by officers at the address in Strathblane Gardens in the Anniesland area on Friday November 20.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

Now police are appealing for information from anyone who could help them local Mr McQuade's family.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracing relatives of a 65 year old male who recently died in the Anniesland area of Glasgow.

"Owen was found dead within his home at Strathblane Gardens, Glasgow on the 20th of November 2020.

"Anyone who has knowledge of Owen’s relatives is asked to contact Constable Rafferty at the Administration department, London Road Police Office on 0141-532-4765 Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600hrs."
