A man has been found burned to death in a London park, with the surrounding area closed off to the public.
Police rushed to the scene near Central Park in East Ham, London at 2.20am this morning (Thursday, June 2).
It was after reports of an injured man being found on fire.
Police and ambulance crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details about the man, including information about his age, have been released by police.
Officers say they are working on confirming the man's identity and informing the next of kin.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained, with officers urging anyone with information to come forward.
Meanwhile, a crime scene remains in place with Central Park shut.
A spokesperson from the Met Police said: "Police were called at approximately 02:20hrs on Thursday, 2 June by London Fire Brigade to reports of a man injured after being found on fire in the vicinity of Central Park, E6.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended but the man – no further details – was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Enquiries to confirm his identity and inform next of kin are ongoing."

They added: "At this early stage, the death is being treated as unexplained while the circumstances of his death are investigated.
"A crime scene remains in place and Central Park remains closed at this time.
"Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 657/2June."
