A man was fatally shot Sunday morning on the Northwest Side.
The 27-year-old was discovered about 2:30 a.m. unresponsive and laying on a sidewalk in the 1000 block of North Lawndale Avenue, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. He has not yet been identified, police said.
No one was in custody.
