A man has died suddenly in Drumchapel, with police earlier racing to Great Western Road.
The force were called to the west of Glasgow shortly after 9am this morning and have subsequently confirmed a 56-year-old man has sadly passed away.
Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report relating to the sudden death of a 56-year-old man at Great Western Road in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow around 9.10am on Sunday, 6 September.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
