A dad was brought back to life by three "heroes" after he collapsed at a golf course.
John Anderson fell to the ground shortly after the first hole at Hillsborough Golf Club in Sheffield on May 26.
The 63-year-old was trying out the course and considering becoming a member when he started having a cardiac arrest, Examiner Live reported.
Three nearby people quickly rushed over to help John.
His son Callum, 27, said: "His heart did stop and out of the three people there two of them knew CPR so they started giving CPR and rang an ambulance.
"They kept giving him CPR until the ambulance arrived and they managed to stabilise him.
"When we got to hospital we were told that without these three heroes my dad wouldn't be here.
"It's unbelievable. It's one of the most unluckiest things to have a heart attack but it was also so lucky someone was there who knew CPR."
John is now recovering at his home in Hillsborough after having a defibrillator fitted into his chest on June 1.
Callum is meeting the trio who saved his dad's life on Friday for a pint as he admitted he owes them a debt of gratitude for "keeping his family whole".
However, the potential repercussions of what could have happened have spurred him on to raise money for a defibrillator to be fitted at the golf club.
On a GoFundMe page which has already raised £650, Callum wrote: "I want to help provide them with some money towards a defibrillator.
"This was hands down the worst feeling in my life and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this.
"If we can help to provide Hillsborough golf club with some funds towards one then, maybe, we could all be contributing to saving a life if this happens again."
