A man has died at the scene of a crash on the A19 in County Durham.
Emergency services were called to a one-vehicle collision involving a BMW X3 at 8.43pm on Friday on the southbound carriageway of the A19 close to the Dalton Park slip road near Seaham.
Emergency CPR was carried out on the man – who was the sole occupant of the vehicle - but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The A19 was closed in both directions for a number of hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
The road has now since reopened.
Durham Constabulary is now calling for any witnesses to the collision to come forward to help with their investigation.
A force spokesman said: "Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have any dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident.
"Please call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 464 with any information."
