A man has been killed in an explosion on a farm on Melbourne's outskirts.
The man was working at the property, on Troups Road at Fieldstone in the city's outer west, on Monday afternoon when he was injured in the blast.
He died at the scene despite efforts to revive him.
A report into his death will be prepared for the coroner, police say.
