Man dies in Glasgow woods as investigators treat death as 'unexplained'

Emergency services raced to a popular walking spot in Glasgow after a man suddenly died.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to Garscadden Woods in Drumchapel at around 3pm today, June 29, where the individual was discovered.

Investigators are treating the death as unexplained.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal following the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Thursday, 29 June, 2023, police were called to the Garscadden Woods area of Glasgow following the sudden death of a man.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
