A man has died after a two vehicle crash in Co Down yesterday evening.
He was driving a Volkswagen Passat when it collided with a Volvo XC60 on the A1, close to the Gowdystown Road junction between Dromore and Banbridge, shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday, March 31.
A man and woman travelling in the Volvo were taken to Daisy Hill Hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries.
The road had been closed in both directions but has now reopened, Belfast Live reports.
PSNI Inspector Johnston said: "I am appealing for anyone who was travelling on the A1 and witnessed the collision to contact officers in Banbridge or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 966 31/03/19.
"We are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have dash cam footage or mobile phone footage of the accident."
