A man has died after he lost control of an electric scooter and crashed onto the floor.
The tragic incident happened in Carnforth in Lancashire just before 2am this morning (Sunday). The victim - aged in his 30s and from Blackpool - suffered serious injuries in the smash.
He was sadly pronounced dead a short time later, Lancashire Police said. Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision - which happened on Kellet Road - to come forward.

They also want to speak to anyone who saw the e-scooter in the run up to the crash. Sgt Craig Booth, from Lancashire Police's Road Policing Unit, said: "This collision has resulted in a man losing his life and my thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
"If anyone saw the collision itself, or the e-scooter in the moments before the collision, I would urge them to contact us."
