A 31-year-old man was shot in the neck during the first robbery, about 10:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in the 4000 block of South Calumet Avenue, police said. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
The other robbery happened the following night, about 11:15 p.m. Dec. 2 in the 4400 block of South Indiana Avenue, police said.
