A man with previous theft convictions has been banned from entering Liverpool city centre for a total of two years.
Arben Selemi appeared before Sefton Magistrates Court earlier this week where he was issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). The CBO will remain in place for a total of two years, meaning he cannot enter the city centre.
It comes following an application by the city centre's local policing team after Selemi's previous convictions for theft. Merseyside Police confirmed to the ECHO that Selemi was recently convicted of the theft of an Adidas hooded top from the Footlocker store in Liverpool city centre.

The CBO covers the areas in the below map from the Strand to London Road. Taking to social media to share the "good news" of the CBO application, Liverpool's local policing team wrote: "The City Centre Team will continue to work with and support businesses across the City."
