Man City squad for Arsenal FC fixture revealed

Man City appear to be without captain David Silva for Sunday's Premier League match against Arsenal.

City have struggled with injuries all season and Silva sustained a kick to his leg during last weekend's Manchester derby at the Etihad.

The Spaniard played the full 90 minutes of the loss to United but didn't play against Dinamo Zagreb in midweek after Pep Guardiola revealed he was injured.

Guardiola ruled Sergio Aguero and John Stones out of City's trip to Arsenal in his pre-match press conference on Friday but said the Blues would wait to make a decision on Silva's fitness before making the journey south.

"He’s not fit, on Thursday and Friday he couldn't train, then we’ll see tomorrow," Guardiola said.

"It was a kick on the leg that was painful, not a big issue."

City's players departed Manchester for London on Saturday afternoon and photographers did not spot Silva with his teammates.

Back-up goalkeeper Claudio Bravo wasn't spotted either but both could conceivably be with the squad.

There is some brief respite for City, however, as Aleks Zinchenko is available after he made his long-awaited return from injury in Wednesday's victory in Croatia.

Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte are long-term absentees.

Man City travelling squad to face Arsenal:

Goalkeepers: Ederson, Carson

Defenders: Walker, Cancelo, Otamendi, Garcia, Mendy, Zinchenko, Angelino

Midfielders: Rodri, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Foden, Gundogan

Forwards: Jesus, Bernardo, Sterling, Mahrez
