Lewis: Terrific on the ball and off it, spending most of his time next to Rodri and looking like he belonged in the City side. 8
Stones: Mainly at the right of a three as Lewis pushed up and dealt with the few dramas City encountered with his usual calm. 7
Akanji: Similarly unflustered under pressure, knocking the ball about with Ake like it was a Sunday morning park game. 7
Ake: Played a lovely ball through for Haaland in the first minute and enjoyed the extra freedom that left-back offers. 7
Rodri: Drove City forward when they needed it and mopped up at the back. Booked for a needless foul in a bad area towards the end. 8
De Bruyne: Began with some poor touches but turned it on in sublime fashion when needed and unlucky not to get an assist. 7
Gundogan: Got into some good areas in the box and tidy enough, albeit outshone by his fellow midfielders. 6
Mahrez: A quiet game not helped by much of City's play going through Grealish down the left. 6
Grealish: How do you sum up that performance? With difficulty. A shocker in the first half, two assists in the second. 7
Haaland: Missed a few decent chances in the first half, scored a few decent chances in the second. Feed him and the machine will score. 8
