Manchester City are back on track as attentions shift towards two massive games this week.
Man City begin the league phase of their Champions League campaign at home to Kevin De Bruyne's Napoli on Thursday before a Premier League showdown away at Arsenal three days later.
The mood in the camp ahead of those fixtures should be a positive one after a return to winning ways in Sunday's Manchester derby.
Phil Foden got the ball rolling before Erling Haaland notched a brace in the second half to seal an impressive 3-0 victory over arch-rivals Manchester United.
Foden was one of several senior players to mark his return from injury in the derby, but there are still some members in the treatment room.
That said, here’s a look at the latest Manchester City injury news...
Omar Marmoush
The Egyptian forward has suffered a knee ligament injury while on international duty.
Omar Marmoush was forced off during Egypt's 0-0 draw with Burkina Faso last Tuesday, and was pictured wearing a knee brace and using crutches after the game.
The Egyptian Football Association confirmed after the game that "Marmoush has suffered a bruised knee ligament”, adding: "The player will undergo an X-ray upon his arrival to Cairo [on] Wednesday morning."

City on Wednesday ruled Marmoush out of the derby but Guardiola doesn't expect to be without the winger for too long.
"A few weeks, I think, before the next international break he will be ready," the Spaniard told reporters.
Potential return date: October 5, 2025 vs Brentford (A)
Rayan Cherki
Summer signing Rayan Cherki is already facing an extended period on the sidelines after picking up a thigh injury.
The forward scored on his Premier League debut, a 4-0 win at Wolves, but struggled against Tottenham, and has now been ruled out until late October.
Guardiola said on August 31: “He’s out for two months. Seven or eight weeks.”
That could see Cherki miss as many as 11 games in total, including three Champions League outings, before returning.
Potential return date: November 1, 2025 vs Bournemouth (H)
John Stones
The centre-back had started all three of City’s Premier League games this season, but was forced to withdraw from England duty with “minor muscle issues”.
It was a surprise given John Stones had played 90 minutes for City just four days beforehand, but it resulted in the defender missing the Manchester derby too.
Guardiola did say he did not think the issue was too serious so Stones could be available for the Champions League clash at home to Napoli in the best-case scenario.
Potential return date: September 18, 2025 vs Napoli (H)
Rayan Ait-Nouri
The summer signing from Wolves played no part against Manchester United after picking up an unspecified knock during the international break.
Little information has been disclosed regarding Rayan Ait-Nouri's injury so it's impossible to speculate on a potential return date.
Potential return date: Unknown
Mateo Kovacic
The Croatian had surgery on an Achilles problem ahead of the Club World Cup, and has not made a competitive appearance since.
Asked before the season for an update, Guardiola said: “We have three [defensive midfielders], I would say, with Kova injured until September or October - hopefully earlier.”
Potential return date: October 2025
