Man City fans name eight changes they want to make for FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea

Manchester City fans are keen to see a rotated starting line-up for their side's FA Cup tie with Chelsea.

City take on Chelsea at Wembley looking to secure a second final of the season in their quest for a quadruple, having already booked a place in the Carabao Cup showpiece.

Pep Guardiola's side go into the game on a high after overcoming Borussia Dortmund in midweek to advance through to the Champions League semi-finals.

Yet they will likely face a tough game against Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea side, who are also in the Champions League semis after seeing off Porto in midweek.

Nevertheless, fans want to see Guardiola ring the changes for the game, with eight changes from midweek in fans' most commonly selected starting line-up.

Zack Steffen is set to replace Ederson in goal, having proved a solid cup goalkeeper so far this season.

In defence, fans want to see just Ruben Dias keep his place in the side, with Aymeric Laporte being named as his preferred partner at centre-back at the expense of John Stones.

Joao Cancelo comes in for Kyle Walker at right-back, with Benjamin Mendy replacing Oleksandr Zinchenko on the left.

The only two other players to keep their place from midweek in City fans' preferred starting XI are both in midfield, with Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin de Bruyne playing alongside Fernandinho, who has replaced Rodri.

That means fans are keen to see a fresh front three for the game, with Raheem Sterling starting on the left in place of midweek match-winner Phil Foden.

Ferran Torres is given a chance to start on the right-wing in place of Riyad Mahrez, despite the attacker's recent good form.

There is also a recall for Gabriel Jesus, who will lead the line as a striker, as opposed to Guardiola's decision to play with a false nine against Dortmund.
