Man City fans ask Pep Guardiola to make three changes against Brighton & Hove Albion

Manchester City fans are hoping Pep Guardiola will make three changes from their last Premier League victory against Chelsea when they face Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday night.

City have rotated their squad for the last two cup matches against Manchester United and Birmingham City, with both games ending in victory.

On Wednesday, it's back to Premier League action with a victory moving City to within one point of Liverpool and they will still have a game in hand.

With Manchester United and Liverpool facing off at Anfield on Sunday, it offers Guardiola 's men the perfect opportunity to apply further pressure on the top two.

Pep Guardiola gives full fitness update ahead of Brighton

City turned on the style at Stamford Bridge 10 days ago with their best display of the season to date and City fans want to see the bulk of that same XI restored.

One alteration is in goal, with Zac Steffen starting the last three games for City in the place of Ederson, who has been self-isolating.

The Brazilian is now available for selection again and supporters want to see their first-choice goalkeeper back in net.

The backline remains the same after a string of strong performances, with Joao Cancelo, John Stones, Ruben Dias and Oleksandr Zinchenko manning the back four.

Kevin de Bruyne slips back into City's midfield three at the expense of Bernardo Silva after the Belgian's impressive performance as a false nine against Chelsea.

Silva makes way for Gabriel Jesus who returns up front, with Riyad Mahrez coming in for Raheem Sterling, with Phil Foden occupying the opposite wide role.

Sergio Aguero and Aymeric Laporte remain unavailable for Manchester City but Ferran Torres is back in contention after his period of self-isolation.
