Man City 'consider' Sergio Aguero and Neymar swap-deal

Manchester City are considering a shock swap-deal which would see Neymar join the club, according to reports.

Pep Guardiola's side are looking to bolster their squad at the end of the season and are now being linked with a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a potential switch to City in the past and now it is being suggested the club could even look to offer Sergio Aguero as part of a deal in order to secure his arrival.

A report via Sportsmole suggests City's interest in the Brazil international has peaked after learning PSG could look to sell the forward at the end of the season.

According to the report City are interested in recruiting Neymar and are considering an offer which would see them pay £129.9m as well as allowing Aguero move to the French capital.

Of course, it must be said MEN Sport have no reason to believe the club would entertain such a bizarre offer.

In terms of other transfer news, City are ready to break their transfer record in order to bring Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri to the club.

Fresh from being linked with Thomas Partey and Saul Nigeuz, The Telegraph are making it a hat-trick of Atletico midfielders now to have been linked with a transfer to City.

According to the report the Spain midfielder is viewed as a potential successor to Fernandinho, but it would take a club record fee to sign him.

Atletico would reportedly be unwilling to let the 22-year-old leave the club if someone triggers the £60.6m release clause in his current deal.
