Man charged with woman's murder after body found in bushland

Police cordoned off a large area of bushland after Ms Taylor's body was found.

A man has been charged with murdering 37-year-old itinerant woman Kym Jasmine Taylor, whose body was found in bushland in Perth's south-east.

A member of the public called police early last Sunday morning after discovering the woman's body in an area off Canning Dam Road in Bedfordale.

In the days after the body was found, Ms Taylor's mother Courtney Hill-Aaron made a plea for information about her daughter's death.

She said although she had not seen her daughter in several months, she was loved by all who knew her.

William Joseph Wright, 46, has been charged with the murder.

Police said he was known to Ms Taylor.

Mr Wright made a brief appearance in court on Sunday and was remanded in custody until his next appearance on Wednesday.
