A man has been charged after a 19-year-old woman was raped in Camden.
Hassan Sarout, 21, of no fixed address, was charged with rape on Saturday.
The teenage victim reported at 3.31am on Thursday that she had been raped in the early hours of the morning on Euston Road. She continues to be supported by specialist officers.
Officers attended the scene, which was near a hospital, as part of early enquiries and a crime scene was put in place.
The Met Police said Sarout was arrested on Friday and he will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The force added that its enquiries are ongoing.
