A man has been charged with murder after a fight at a home on the NSW Central Coast. (AAP)

A man has been charged with murder after a fight at a home on the NSW Central Coast.

Police say emergency services were called to a home on Holcombe Avenue, Narara, at around 6pm on Sunday.

A 43-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his torso and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man at the scene and charged him with murder at Gosford Police Station.

He has been refused bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Monday.
