A man has been charged with starting a number of bushfires in the southern Adelaide Hills, which destroyed nine homes and a dozen other buildings.
The 61-year-old is due to face Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday on 12 counts of intentionally causing a bushfire and 10 counts of property damage.
On January 24, fire crews responded to bushfires at Cherry Gardens, Bradbury, Dorset Vale and Kangarilla.
The fires quickly spread in very hot conditions, burning for more than 24 hours before being contained.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and have asked for anyone who saw people or vehicles, particularly a small white car, in the area to come forward.
The fires burnt through about 2500 hectares of scrub and farmland within a 28-kilometres perimeter.
At the height of the incident, an emergency warning was in place for a number of towns.
