Man charged in connection with attempted murder in South Ayrshire

A MAN has been arrested and charged following an attempted murder in a town in South Ayrshire.

Emergency services were called to a report of a 39-year-old man found injured on Braeside Road, Ayr, at around 10am on Tuesday 17 June.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said that a 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder.

He is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
