A MAN has been charged after a cannabis cultivation worth more than £170,000 was discovered in a property in Glasgow.
Officers acting on intelligence attended a property on Clarkston Street on Wednesday, where 290 cannabis plants worth £174,000 were recovered.
Police confirmed that a 33-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the discovery of the cannabis cultivation.
The 33-year-old appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Officers said enquiries remain ongoing.
Sergeant David Dinnen said: “This is a significant recovery which highlights our ongoing efforts to rid our communities of dangerous and illegal drugs.
“Drugs cause nothing but misery and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to bring those involved in their supply to justice.
