A man has been seriously injured in a hit and run while he was changing a tyre.
South Wales Police said a 46-year-old local man who was changing a tyre was hit by a white car that failed to stop in Cardiff .
The crash happened at around 5.25pm on Saturday, in Grand Avenue in Ely .
The man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, with what are described as serious injuries.

A police spokesman said: "South Wales Police Roads Policing Department is appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have any information including dashcam footage, which will help officers in identifying the person who was driving the car."
