Man broke into Airdrie home of ex-partner and threatened to kill her

A man who broke in to his ex-partner’s Airdrie home will return to court.

Rebwar Mohammed, 40, admitted entering a Fairhaven Avenue property without consent in May.

He proceeded to pursue his former lover and seize her mobile phone and act aggressively.

On top of that, he threatened violence towards two constables and threatened to kill his ex-partner.

Mohammed appeared in the dock in Airdrie last week expecting to hear his fate, but his solicitor confirmed that due to no fault of his own reports had not been filed.

He will return to court later this month once a restriction of liberty assessment and social work reports have been completed.
