Man battered by baseball bat-wielding gang in violent street brawl

A man was repeatedly hit with baseball bats by a gang in a violent street brawl.

The shocking clip shows a group of thugs trading kicks and blows on the streets in Moseley, Birmingham, yesterday.

One man was tackled to the floor and battered with a bat while two other scrapped on the raod.

A man filming from a car is heard saying: “No way, no way, unbelievable.”

Three men are seen attacking a man, dressed in a black top and grey trousers, and repeatedly beat him.

Another picks up the baseball bat and strikes him multiple times in the legs.

The man filming says: “No way, this is happening in front of me.”

The victim in grey bottoms eventually managed to stand up and escape.

The clip ended when some residents came out after hearing the scuffle and tried to intervene.

It was uploaded to Facebook last night by Saf Harris who said: "St Paul's Road Sparkbrook gang of youths fighting."

The video has shocked many in the comments.

Salma Crzy Khan said: “Little s****, got nothing else better to do.”

Aleena Burton added: “Such hard men having to use weapons. My female cat has got bigger balls than these cretins.”

West Midlands Police told Mirror Online: "We are aware of a video circulating of a disorder involving baseball bats which is believed to be in Balsall Heath.

"We have not yet received any official complaints in relation to this incident.

"There will an increased police presence around the area today to offer reassurance to our community."
