Man assaulted by three men in Christmas jumpers in night-time Carmarthen attack

A man has suffered broken bones after being assaulted by three men wearing Christmas jumpers in Carmarthen.

The incident happened in the centre of town in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, December 15.

The victim sustained broken facial bones and a cut to the back of his head during the attack, which happened in Nott Square at around 1am.

He was later taken to Glangwili Hospital by ambulance.

Police are now appealing for information in a bid to trace the three men suspected of carrying out the assault.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are appealing for information following an assault which left a man with head and facial injuries.

“The victim said he had been assaulted by three men, who were wearing Christmas jumpers.

“Anyone who saw the assault, or saw three men leaving Nott Square at around 1am on December 15, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police.”
