A man is believed to be in a serious condition after falling from a building in Warrington.
The man is reported to have fallen from a building site in Palmyra Square in Warrington at around 11am today.
Police were called to the site and the man was airlifted to Aintree hospital where he is believed to be in a serious condition - reports Cheshire Live.
There was reportedly a large police presence in the area, with the air ambulance landing outside Warrington Town Hall.
The building is currently being converted into new flats.
The Health and Safety Executive has been notified of the incident and a joint investigation into the circumstances will be progressed, according to police.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 11.14am today (Wednesday, February 24) police were called to a building site in Palmyra Square, Warrington, following reports of a man having fallen from a building.
"The casualty has been taken to Aintree Hospital in what is believed to be a serious condition.
"The Health and Safety Executive has been notified of the incident and a joint investigation into the circumstances will be progressed."
A spokesperson for North West Ambulance said they were called at 11.04am and an emergency ambulance, air ambulance and advanced paramedic attended the scene.

They added a male patient was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The spokesperson said: "We attended with an emergency ambulance, air ambulance and an advanced paramedic.
"A male patient was taken to hospital by road, in a serious condition.
"We were called at 11.04am."
