A man has admitted his involvement in the death of a mother shot in her shipping container home on a rural property south of Brisbane.
Geoffrey Dale Granz Glenn, 35, had been set to stand trial for murder in June but pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court to a lesser charge of manslaughter on Thursday.
Granz Glenn was among a group of people - including a 45-year-old grandmother - involved in what police believe to be an attempted robbery at a Karawatha property in the early hours of February 9, 2019.
The victim, 40-year-old Megan Kirley, was in bed at home with her partner Pieter Pickering at the time when the group arrived in a car.
Accomplice Cameron Lindsay Witoko was carrying a meat cleaver, and another was allegedly armed with a firearm.
A man outside the home allegedly fired the gun hitting Ms Kirley in the back of the neck, killing her, when Mr Pickering swung homemade nunchucks towards the door after hearing the car approach.
The group fled with Mr Pickering in pursuit.
Four people have now admitted their involvement in the shooting death following Granz Glenn's plea.
Witoko, Emma Louise Hinds - a mother of three and grandmother of a four-year-old - as well as Kobi Daniel Oram have each been sentenced to nine years' jail after all pleading guilty to manslaughter.
Stafford Emmerson is set to face trial over Ms Kirley's death in June.
Granz Glenn will be sentenced on a date yet to be decided.
