A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital in the early hours of this morning after he was allegedly stabbed in the face following an altercation in north Kildare.
The row broke out shortly after midnight on Leixlip's Main Street.
The injured man was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown after he was allegedly assaulted by a number of people.
Gardai told Dublin Live they are investigating the incident.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are investigating a serious assault that occurred on Main St, Leixlip Co Kildare on the 14 May 2019 shortly after midnight.
"A man in his 40s was allegedly assaulted by a number of other persons.
"The injured party received apparent stab wounds to his face and was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital."
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
