A man who was stabbed to death in north London has been named as a suspect appeared in court charged with murder.
Shaun Latimer-Kayser, 44, collapsed in Camden Gardens, south of Kentish Town, on Saturday afternoon.
Dwight Merrick, 35, of Hanson Close, Beckenham, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday accused of murdering Mr Latimer-Kayser.
He is also charged with possession of offensive weapons, namely a plank of wood and a knife, and the common assault of Mr Latimer-Kayser, relating to an incident earlier that day.
Merrick was remanded to next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
Metropolitan Police officers attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service who treated him for knife wounds before taking him to hospital.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Mr Latimer-Kayser sadly died.
