A man in his 30s was shot at a house in Co Derry last night.
The incident happened at around 8.45pm on Tuesday evening.
Police officers revealed the man was shot in both legs after two masked men entered the house in the Margaret Street area of Waterside, Belfast Live reports.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Two masked men entered a house in the area at around 8.45pm this evening and shot a man aged in his 30s in both legs.
"The man is now receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
"An investigation is underway and officers would ask anyone with any information to contact them at Strand Road on 101 quoting reference number 1838 08/10/19.
"Information can also be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
