- A 26-year-old man has been arrested following the death of Scottish woman Elisabeth-Jane Ross, whose body was found inside a suitcase in Athens.
- Ms Ross, 28, from Edinburgh, was discovered by a homeless man in a derelict building in the Kypseli area of Athens on 18 July.
- The Hellenic Police identified Ms Ross using fingerprints and later identified the suspect through video footage, who confessed to the crime on Thursday.
- The arrested man is believed to have placed her body in the suitcase and subsequently used her bank card to withdraw money.
- He faces charges of manslaughter, robbery, and violation of weapons laws, with a replica pistol and knife found at his home.
