Malin Andersson rushes poorly daughter to hospital and admits she feels 'depressed'

Love Island's Malin Andersson has said that her daughter Xaya is "so poorly" after rushing her daughter to hospital.

Malin, 30, took to Instagram yesterday to post a clip of her almost 11-month-old daughter. It showed Xaya – who was born in January this year – seemingly lying on Malin's chest.

The reality TV star has since said that her daughter is "so poorly". Malin told her followers that she herself feels "depressed and run down" over the experience.

She said in a post that was uploaded this morning that Xaya "isn't responding to antibiotics" and has subsequently shared a photo that appeared to show a hospital room, indicating she has taken her daughter to hospital.

She wrote in a post earlier today: "Xay is so poorly isn't responding to antibiotics so I'm staying off here until she's ok again." She added: "I feel so depressed and run down".

Malin more recently uploaded a photo that appeared to show her legs whilst she was lying on a bed in hospital. Her daughter wasn't visible in the photo. She included a sad emoji.

Malin - who appeared on Love Island in 2016 - welcomed Xaya in January this year. The reality TV star split from her partner Jared just weeks after their daughter was born.

Announcing the pregnancy last year, Malin had said that it marked a "new chapter" in her life. She had commented in a post at the time: "My new beginning. My happy ending."

Xaya's arrival came three years after the tragic death of Malin's daughter Consy. The newborn died just four weeks old, after being born prematurely in December in 2018.

Malin has continued to pay tribute to Consy in the years since her death in early 2019. This has included marking what would have been her third birthday last year.
