Chelsea have announced the signing of Malang Sarr on a five-year deal and now his agent has spoken out.
The Blues are also close to signing the likes of Kai Havertz and Thiago Silva but it was a deal for Sarr which they announced this afternoon.
Chelsea fans are getting excited about how the club is building for not only next season but the future.
And Sarr's agent, Federico Pastorello, has shared that delight in a post on his Instagram following the announcement of his client's move.
Pastorello explained: "A lot of hard work is hidden behind nice things. Congratulations @malang_sarr @chelseafc @ppsportmanagement #chelsea #chelseafc."
Sarr left Nice this summer after turning down a new contract before he became available and Chelsea pounced. The 21-year-old centre-back will be loaned straight back out ahead of next term.
Meanwhile, Sarr is just one of the many signings that Chelsea plan to make this summer after acquiring Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell.
Havertz and Silva should be next and the club have been linked with the likes of Mike Maignan as well.
On the signing of Sarr, Marina Granovskaia said: "The opportunity to sign Malang was one we could not miss.
"He is a tremendous prospect and we will be monitoring him closely during his loan period, hoping he will soon be back at Chelsea.
"We are very happy to welcome him to the club today."
