Eyes can be one of the first places to show aging, as the skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face.
While it's completely normal to develop fine lines and wrinkles, some people find that makeup can often accentuate any texture or ageing around the eyes.
As well as this, as we get older, the tear trough area in the inner corner of our eye can often appear more sunken and dark which can make eyes look more tired

However, one TikTok user has a quick and easy make-up hack to keep the inner under eye looking bright and awake.
Makeup artist and content creator Ky Lauren went viral on TikTok after sharing her anti-ageing tip.

In a video posted online that has over 24,000 views, she says: "This is a great hack that's going to take years off your face in just seconds."
Ky then shows viewers at home how to apply a light shade of a compact foundation to the inner corner under your eye - and it has instant results.
"Tear troughs are these deep little areas here at the inner corner of your eye.
"As we get older, they get deeper. I'm going to show you a quick trick to make them brighter and pop out.
"I like to use a pressed foundation two to three shades lighter than your normal shade," she says.
She goes on to pat the foundation powder lightly in her tear trough area, which brightens it immediately.
"It's gonna pop out that area," she said. "I'm going to use a bigger brush to blend it out so that it blends with the rest of my makeup.
"I'll finish with a nice setting powder all over my face."
Viewers were loving the makeup hack and took to the comments to share their thoughts.
"What a difference," wrote one viewer.
"Absolutely love this," wrote another.
Another said: "Good advice!"
