A busy Glasgow city centre route, which has been shut for more than eleven weeks, will finally reopen next week.
Cathedral Street was closed on April 1 after a Victorian drain underneath the road suddenly collapsed in March.
Scottish Water shut off the area to carry out a repair plan, lasting three months, with a series of diversions for road users and buses.
Once the main sewer repair and patch-lining works were finished, Glasgow City Council (GCC) then started resurfacing the street.
This was undertaken in three phases between June 10 and June 24.
On Friday, GCC confirmed that the road will fully reopen at 6am on Monday, June 29.
A statement published on the local authority's Facebook page: "Cathedral Street update. After the completion of emergency works by Scottish Water and our subsequent road resurfacing, Cathedral Street will reopen in full at 6am on Monday, June 29."
