South Wales Police have closed the road at Seaway Parade, Sandfields in Port Talbot and have urged motorists to stay away as they deal with an incident.
The Sandfields dual carriageway was closed in both direction at approximately 3.45am Sunday (July 25) and police have warned drivers that it will remain shut for some time to come.
SWP took to twitter to warn motorists to steer clear as they deal with the issue.
They posted: "We are at the scene of an incident on Seaway Parade, Sandfields, Port Talbot.
"The road is currently closed in both directions. It is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible."
