Maroon 5 will take Bangkok by storm one more time with the "Maroon 5: Red Pill Blues Tour 2019" concert at Impact Challenger 1, Muang Thong Thani, on March 9 at 7pm.
Presented by Live Nation BEC-Tero, this will be the fifth show in the Kingdom by the American pop-rock band who last performed here in 2015 with all tickets quickly sold out. The upcoming concert is to promote their sixth album, Red Pill Blues, which features multi-instrumentalist Sam Farrar as an official member, making it a septet. Released in late 2017, the album peaked at No.2 on the US Billboard 200. It includes global hits like What Lovers Do, Don't Wanna Know, Cold, Wait and Girls Like You -- the latest of which reached No.1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Maroon 5's fourth chart-topper.
Since its formation in 1994, Maroon 5 has sold more than 70 million singles and 20 million albums, making them one of the world's best-selling bands. Their current line-up includes Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton and Sam Farrar.
They are currently on their sixth concert tour, which kicked off last March and will conclude in June, covering more than 60 performances across America, Europe and Asia.
