Edinburgh rail services are being affected due to a possible track defect on the Forth bridge, with the disruption expected to last until 6pm tonight.
Network Rail Scotland posted on Twitter saying that they have sent engineers to the bridge for a full safety inspection before normal service may resume.

This has affected trains heading between Dalmeny and North Queensferry, with ScotRail offering shuttle buses that will accept passenger's train tickets instead.
They said: "due to a safety inspection of the track between Dalmeny and North Queensferry, services through this area will be delayed or altered. We'll update you further once Network Rail Scotland have reviewed the situation."
In the meantime, ScotRail have put ticket acceptance in place for passengers to use their rail tickets for certain bus routes.
Shuttle buses will also operate for Inverkeithing, following a service between Inverkeithing and Edinburgh Gateway stations where train services can connect onwards.
Passengers travelling from Edinburgh can travel to Edinburgh Gateway via Edinburgh Trams and connect with shuttles to Inverkeithing, ticket acceptance will then be in place for onward connections from there.
National Rail have also given an update on the situation, saying work is expected to go on until 6pm at the earliest.
They said: "A safety inspection of the track between Dalmeny and North Queensferry is causing disruption to journeys between Edinburgh and Inverkeithing. As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
"This is expected to continue until 18:00."
