The much-anticipated Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) Season 2 Final is set for Saturday at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane. Majhi Mumbai, the most dominant team of the season, will take on Srinagar Ke Veer in a thrilling title clash.
Majhi Mumbai have been in red-hot form throughout the tournament, finishing atop the standings with 18 points after winning nine of their 10 league games. They registered double wins against four teams — Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Bangalore Strikers, Chennai Singams, and Tigers of Kolkata — before storming into the final with a commanding victory over Falcon Risers in Qualifier 1.

The only team to have beaten Majhi Mumbai this season is their final opponents, Srinagar Ke Veer. The two sides split their league-stage encounters, with Majhi Mumbai winning the first match by seven wickets but losing the return fixture by the same margin.

Majhi Mumbai’s batting has been led by Rajat Mundhe, who has amassed 261 runs in 11 innings, making him the second-highest run-getter of the season behind Srinagar’s Sagar Ali (453 runs). Mohammed Nadeem is the team’s next-best batter with 152 runs.
The team’s real strength, however, lies in its bowling attack, which has dominated the league. Three Majhi Mumbai bowlers feature in the top five wicket-takers. Abhishek Kumar Dalhor leads the charts with 22 wickets, followed by teammate Ankur Singh with 17. Vijay Pawle, with 14 scalps, is joint third.
With a near-flawless campaign so far, Majhi Mumbai will be keen to avenge their only defeat and lift the ISPL Season 2 trophy.
